“I did 2 rides with WERIDE - one in Algarve and one in Sintra. The guides are excellent - offered good skills tips, knew the trails very well (they build them) and also lots of info on local tourist sites / ecology etc. I rode mostly intermediate trails - and I found them to be just challenging enough - but we passed by lots of trails that looked more full on enduro, if you are looking to ride some bigger or sketchier stuff. Excellent company to book a tour with.”

”The one week riding (6 Days) with WERIDE was amazing - everyone did the best to make us enjoy our visit in Sintra.
The communication during booking process with Hugo was very kind and uncomplicated and the guiding by João and Duarte outstanding, truly one of the best shuttled guiding experiences we had so far - with focus on fun, passionate riding and our abilities and skills.
The trails are really good and a great range of variation, a perfect mix of flowy and technical parts with a lot of nice features to play with.
Thanks to everyone at WERIDE - We will be back! Please stay how you are...always go big - but ... don't become too big! “

“WE were a couple looking to spend our holiday biking in Sintra, Portugal. WERIDE were very helpful right from the start to plan our trip as we wished. We spent 3 days riding in a group of about 6-8 people with shuttling. The trails were mixed and the guides were great at walking us through the technical parts before we rode them. There were some technical bits (steep, roots, drops etc.) which I personally found a bit scary, but overall it was good to push myself and further my riding skills. Donkey trail had an amazing view! Would definitely recommend WERIDE. Next time we will head up north as we heard the trails there are also really good. Thank you!”

“I heard about WERIDE from a Pinkbike article and boy did it live up to the hype. I rode in Sintra with guide José and just one other person for the full day. Prior to the ride, they communicated with me thoroughly on my skill level, fitness, timing for the day, and what trails I liked to ride. After answering all of those questions and then getting to ride with them, it was like the tailored the group ride to my exact skill level. I rented a Transition Patrol from WERIDE and it was a solid bike as far as rentals go. We did most of our climbing on dirt roads and then descended an epic diversity of trails, to deep green forests with loamy dirt to fast rocky sections with an ocean view. Both the guide, the other customer and I were about the same skill level, which helped make it feel like just a couple guys going out for a ride. José is incredibly friendly and is fantastic to talk to about all things bikes and Portugal. If you do the full day, know that Sintra has some springs you can get water at but you should bring some snacks. My day in Sintra was one of my favorite days of riding of my life, and would recommend to any biker visiting Lisbon.”

“I spent the weekend riding with Duarte and José from WERIDE. Both were excellent guides who took great care of us and showed us the best riding that the area has to offer. Lots of respect for building and maintaining such a multitude of trails. On a side note, a lot of guiding companies find it difficult to accommodate solo travellers, but this was not a problem for WERIDE. Overall, very highly recommended!”
