"Meine Frau und ich haben im Enduro-Magazin einen Artikel über Weride gelesen und anschließend eine Tour bei den Jungs gebucht. Die Kommunikation per Mail und Telefon im Vorfeld verlief bestens, alles auf englisch. Leider konnten wir aufgrund der Waldbrände die geplante Monchique-Tour nicht machen. Jedoch bot uns Luis Pedro eine Alternativtour auf den Algarve-Trails an, die auch spitze war. Wir waren einen Tag im Inland unterwegs auf eher technischen Trails und einen Tag an der Algarve-Küste auf eher smoothen Trails mit fantastischen Ausblicken auf das Meer. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht und Luis plus sein Freund Nuno haben uns viel interessantes über Land und Leute erzählt und uns noch Fahrtechnik-Tipps gegeben. Zusammenfassend sehr empfehlenswert!"

Les trails sont fun, jamais trop technique, bien aidé par les 160mm de débattement du vélo.
À ce sujet, c'est très appréciable de pouvoir louer des vélos haut de gamme adaptés à la pratique de l'enduro.

"WE (father and son) booked a mountain bike tour via WERIDE. The booking and communication with Hugo from WERIDE worked without any problems.
Our tour guide Renato picked us up at our accomodation and drove us to Capuchos Convent where WE started after a short introduction about all the bikes. Renato showed us spectacular single trails with easy and heavier barriers through the woods (Bridges trail). Renato gave us advices where necessary. In front of special parts he asked us if WE felt comfortable to manage them. Luckily WE improved and became safer with every challenge WE mastered. On the way, WE stopped for drinking and took photos at places with beautiful sights. After an ascend WE went down through single trails with a more advanced level. Most of them WE managed successfully. Where necessary Renato made suggestions how to pass special passages and gave assistance.
After 4 hours and 500-600 m altitude difference WE finished. WE really enjoyed an interesting and challenging half day tour. Thank you to WERIDE! Next time again."

"WE had a great ride with 3 guides from WERIDE. Went to the trails in Monsanto, Lissabon for some nice jumps and drops. After that WE rode through the harbour and seaside for a nice view - WE had dinner with some local food...

"Best 2 half-days spent in Cascais for me. Thanks to Luis Pedro for patiently repeating the basic mtb skills and drills with me with Hugo shadowing. A good reminder exercise and assessment of rider's ability before hitting the trails. João and Duarte then showed me some of the most exciting trails in Sintra. The dancing and weaving around the tight flowy singletracks at the "bridges trail", drinking spring water at the fountain trail, going down some gnarly technical rocky and rooty steps and drops and jumping the double gaps at "17 sticks trail" was most exhilarating. They are careful to walk and explain the choices of line before committing the trickier sections. I have learnt a lot from just 2 short days of riding with them.
I had a small accident but Duarte was very kind and went out of his way to take care of me right up to my hotel. Kudos to your good team João!! Will ride with you soon in Singapore on your next visit."

"I spent some time with Luis Pedro from WERIDE in Algarve this July and the tracks are amazing, as well as the tips and organization for the 3 rides WE did.
It was pure Enduro but possible to do with one AllMountain - I was riding a 26" Trek Remedy - and that helped a LOT the climbing at around 30 degrees CENTIGRADES!!!
That is something that gave me some thoughts when I flew back to Austria. If WERIDE had one driver shuttling us and Luis Pedro as a guide , the fun would have been tenfold due to the amount of descents increasing that much.
If you are planning to train for Enduro races, do it without shuttle and you will get the condition sweating in the burning Sun of Algarve ;-)
Side effect is that you get quite tanned, lol

"Me and my son used WERIDE for just one day guiding while on holiday in Alvor (Algarve) with the rest of our family. WE brought our own helmets, shoes, clothes etc, but asked if WE could hire some bikes for the day. They came up with brand new, never ridden, Transition Patrols! Absolutely perfect bikes for the conditions.
WE met Luis outside a supermarket in the hills, jumped into his car and drove another 1/2 hour to the riding area. When WE arrived in a small village to start the ride my son realized he had forgotten his Five-Ten shoes. After first looking shocked, Luis ran up the street and came back with a pair of size 9 Five-Tens from someone he knew locally. Amazing!! And a special thanks to the guy who lent to a complete stranger his shoes for the day.
WE set about the climb to the trails and I can only say they were perfect, just what WE both like riding. Technical, fast and flowy single tracks with a few jumps and kickers thrown in. Mostly man-made but a real natural feel to them. The weather was also near perfect, 30 degrees but cooled by the shade of trees. The climbing was made easily by fire roads and B roads.
After lunch, which was only 13€ compared to 60€ by the sea. WE set off again. This time faster as our confidence grew. The day was over all too soon. I personally could have ridden all night.
I have ridden with guides all over the World, Morzine, Spain, Cyprus, UK, but I can honestly say Luis and the trails were some of the best. WE will be back but this time for a weeks riding.
