A Perfect Mountain Bike Experience in Sintra!

"The forest and beach trails in Sintra are unique and worthy of riding if you are visiting Sintra or Lisbon. I contacted WERIDE to take a guide for exploring these trails. The trails are not marked well, you must have a guide to ride here. The quality of the bike surpassed my expectation - a near new carbon full supension Devinci Enduro bike. The guides João, Hugo, and Duarte not only were awesome riders but perfectly tailored the tour to the type of riding I was looking for. You can tell they really care about your experience and really love what they are doing. The whole thing exceeded what I thought may be possible! We rode a variety of trails varying from forest to beach. WERIDE prides themselves on completely customizing the ride for each different customer and they understood and totally nailed what I was looking for. We finished at the beach and relaxed with a beer, the perfect end to the perfect day of riding. HIGHLY recommend WERIDE!"

#DigAndShred Photo Challenge powered by Marcelo Gutierrez

being BOLD and CREATIVE!

Last month WE set out a PHOTO CHALLENGE, partnering with Marcelo Gutierrez and Red Bull, alongside with the Dig & Shred strava challenge that got everyone riding really fast this amazing and brand new track in Sintra, the "11th Level"! Built by the Sintra Freeride Militia team, this gnarly track made everyone get out of their comfort zone and focus on beating Marcelo Gutierrez's timed lap of 1 minute and 43 seconds, or at least get as close as possible!!!

But this time, the best picture of the "11th Level" during the strava challenge would take the photographer and rider for a full day riding with a professional downhill athlete in Lousã!!!

1st, 2nd and 3rd place would all win a Dig & Shred t-shirt autographed by the professional guest rider and a pack of Red Bull Energy Drinks...

Family riding in the South of Portugal, Algarve

"This was my second tour with WERIDE and this time around I visited Algarve. The quality of service was as high here as in Lisbon. Pick-up from the door, freedom to choose your type of riding and spots, local riders showing the trails and all in all friendly and professional guiding. Monchique is definitely a spot to go to for all riders looking for something else than spandex-rides. Algarve is also a spot offering a long season, my watch showed +38 celcius in the sun in early April!
Bike rental is also worth mentioning. Where else can you get rental bikes that equal your own? Devinci carbon frame, SRAM x01, Mavic rims, Rockshox/Fox suspension... Well done!"

Enjoyed every second of it!

"I just contacted Hugo from WERIDE on Wednesday and asked if it was possible to ride with them two days later on Friday. After a short email conversation everything was arranged. I got picked up at the hotel by João in Lisbon and we drove to Sintra area. My guide Miguel brought the bike and we started our tour. All I can say from now on is that it was an absolutely stunning experience. I enjoyed every second about it. WE were riding and shredding the trails with our bikes til late afternoon. My legs got a little bit tired, but thats no wonder after a 40km trip. To sum it up a little bit: you can expect professional guides who know everything about the area and are experts in riding their bike! They concentrate on your own skill level and make anything possible for you to have a great time! I can totally recommend these guys from WERIDE! See you soon!"

Beautifulness in Sintra

"I was just googling MTB biking in the Lisbon area and the Lodge (in Sintra) came up. As I was going to stay in Lisbon, they told me to contact their partner, WERIDE, directly. I got an answer by email within 24h and I barley had to do anything except just letting them know the basic information.
I was surprised over the excellent service and professionalism these guys have! They are soo service minded and can customize your trip to do whatever you want. Also, they were great guides in telling stories and giving you historical information on the surroundings.
Perfect for a group of friends with same passion for MTB biking to go on the tours with WERIDE. Not to forget, the trails were all awesome! I am super happy with my vacation and hope to come back soon with a group of friends!"

Mountain Biking is not only about riding!

"A spectacular experience! Great fun! Good service and a guide with lots of experience and humor! The activities were well adapted to our wishes and intentions, while we were surprised with both cultural and historical places along the route and the guide's solid knowledge.
